Got Your Back Network answers the needs of military families and brings them comfort in a variety of ways. Our work can take us down the street or across the country. No matter where the family lives or where the answer to their need is located, Got Your Back Network works to connect the two.
Penny Drive supporting Got Your Back Network
Barbara Allen's son Sean and his 4th grade class raised a hundred dollars in a penny drive. They donated the all money to the Got Your Back Network. Roy Baldwin went to teach the kids about Got Your Back and how we help families of fallen soldiers. This was a very proud moment for Roy and Sean as they got to share their experiences with these wonderful children.
Project Gratitude 2, Las Vegas
Twenty bereaved widows and daughters of fallen military members attended the Miss America Finals weekend courtesy of an initiative called Project Gratitude. This was the Second Annual Project Gratitude Event. Please take a look at our photos on Facebook to view what a memorable and rewarding experience was had by all.
Our Trip To Washinton DC
Got Your Back Network Founder LCDR Andy Baldwin along with Executive Director Kathleen Gagg led a trip to Washington DC with some children from military families. Among the many stops on the trip was a special visit to the Pentagon. Sit back and enjoy the show.
A Night With The NJ Nets
In April of 2009 the New Jersey Nets hosted a special evening in recognition of Got Your Back Network. LCDR Andy Baldwin, our Executive Director Kathleen Gagg and a group of military children enjoyed watching an exciting win by the Nets in the final home game of the season. Nets players Devon Harris and Brooke Lopez made sure the children had a truly special time. Our kids were a part of the pre-game High Five Lane and got to stand beside players on the court during the national anthem.
The evening also helped raise funds for and awareness of the work of Got Your Back Network.
